See, that's so much easier to read, and barely takes up any more space. Thanks!

Why, you planning on moving again?

Naah, just got curious. Toronto seems SO MUCH MORE EXCITING compared to KW. But it would also be SO MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE.

Toronto's a loud place, so the capital letters are important.

What kind of restraints do they use on the subways? I'd like to see that?

That's just because of your pet cub in Lab 5. :)

Just came back from there with a sub. Came very close to needing those restraints. Subs are so horrible for me, just I just can't stop going back there. They need to move him to another cafeteria station.

How old is this place that they have to advertise "Upgraded electrical outlets and switches"? Was there some major legislative change that requires something newer and safer, or do they mean you've got three-prong outlets and plenty of them?

OK - I'm guessing that the place is near the Bay station (Bay and Bloor, as opposed to the Bloor station, which is at Bloor and Yonge, but under The Bay). I'm also guessing $600K.

Bzzt! Sorry, but thanks for playing! $179k. We can't afford too much, so I limit my searches to the realm of possibility...

I haven't been to Toronto since July 2000, and back then there was a ridiculously high-end building boom.

If this place is $179K Canadian, I might consider moving...

$179K for a 2 bedroom in Yorkville? I'll take two!

I think Cam needs to be made aware of the significance of this find.

I wonder - is this the former home of the girl who got killed in the infamous "Just Desserts" robbery? There's got to be something wrong with it!

Somebody must uncover the shocking truth for me! (just search downtown TO on mls.ca with a top price of $200k for a condo, and it should pop up)

The building is 30 Gloucester Street - I know exactly where this is.

How should I put this? It's more convenient to the Wellesley station than to Bloor, and it's between Yonge and Church.

Trust me, NO ONE who sees you moving in boxes and notices your wedding ring will ask where your wife is.

I have no problem with living in the village. Though I want to live near a grocery store no matter where we live next.

As I recall, the nearest decent-sized grocery store is the Loblaw's one block north of Bloor on Yonge. There's an odd little Dominion store in the basement of Manulife Centre.

Well, the secret is out - it's not in Yorkville. It's in the heart of the Gay Ghetto.

Which would be fine by me. I like how they say "quiet residential street," without the added 'except for late June each year' caveat.

I don't know how much sprawl there is to Pride in TO, but it's got easy access to the trains, so I think you'd be able to sneak away if the situation warrented.

Or you could host parties all weekend. Your choice.

I love Pride, actually. It's highly enjoyable, and one of my thrills is tjhe lack of sprawl -- you just suddenly are knee deep in gay. :)

I haven't been to Pride in Atlanta since 2002 - I think we were in Chicago during Pride 2000, and in Vermont during Pride 2003.

The 2002 Pride involved conspicuous amounts of drama from two of our straight friends who went. Kinda ruined it for me.

And it's not what you're thinking - the other three straight friends in our group were all fun, but these two were so "deeply in love" that they were in the beginning stages of Running-Off-All-Their-Friends-Because-Who-Needs-Other-People-When-I-Have-You-Sweetie.

Not Yorkville, the Village. Which would be handier for us anyway I think. Dunno.

If my brother's old place in The Beaches is any indication, "upgrading wiring" means "this time we put it inside the walls, and made sure it's all 110V".

We have places like that in Atlanta - there are a lot of old apartment buildings built in the 20s that they're finally getting around to turning into condos.

(back to the property description - if it's near UofT and Bloor Street, then West/North/East views do NOT include the city.)

Yo, fa' rizzle. This place is off the hook! It got two boom-boom rooms, lots o' bling in the kizitchen and bizathrooms, smack dab in the heart o' da ghetto, a train right around the corner. And get this...no stains on the walls or nuthin'! You can even bring in ya dawgs and ya crips! And, oh yeah, that shit is big, yo!

You didn't say into what you wanted it translated.

They forgot to mention that the place is lovingly decorated in early 90s Zeller's Moderne, with just a touch of IKEA. The teal green counters are included, but the purple lava lamp in the bedroom goes with the owners.

I'm sure you could find a new purple lava lamp, if you had your heart set on one. Besides, unregistered lava lamps could be antique fire hazards.
