When I used to have to fly from Winnipeg to Fredericton it would take 4 hours with AC, Winnipeg-Toronto-Fredericton. With CA it was Winnipeg-Ottawa-Montreal-Halifax-Saint John-Oslo-Fredericton. Evil I tell you. Took 13 hours.
Yeah - but you'll also notice they were relatively profitable in the long run, without government bailouts - because they had to do that. Just like Westjet has to. But the most important thing is that their staff members were friendly and respectful - whereas Air Canada has a bunch of fucking useless, rude and stuck up employees.
