1. I dislike how "ASAP" no longer means what it means. Or at least, it seems that way. I regularly edit my emails to remove usage of "ASAP" because it seems to indicate "do this right the fuck now," not "as soon as you can, I understand that you may be busy."

2. My new CEO mispronounces the folllowing words:
  • nuclear (Nuke-yalur)
  • COBOL (cobalt)
  • ManuLife (Manual-Life)
  • Acura (a-CURE-ah)

My logic is that folks drop the letter "r" from some words and they feel the need to add that dropped letter elsewhere.

I'm guessing this isn't the case? :-/
