Work is sending me to Chicago! in 17 days! Yikes!

oh jeez, I just left Chicago! I would have totally hung out with you if I were still there!

What to do in Chicago...hmmmm...Well, on Wednesday nights the CSO plays a concert series in Millenium Park. It is wonderfully romantic (and that doesn't mean you can't go alone!). Bring some cheese and wine and listen to the beautiful music. Also there are all the gay bars in Boystown (which is RIGHT where I used to live). Halstead street between Belmont and Addison on the north side of the city. I can give you more specifics on which ones are good for what type of mood you are in if you'd like.

There's also the Art Institute on Michigan Ave that I loved to go to while I was there. Where are you staying? When are you going to be there?

And what the hell do you do, btw?

I'll be there Sunday night to Wednesday afternoon, so bars and CSO I guess are out. To be honest, I usually end up going to Subway for supper and then hiding in the hotel when I travel, unless I know people in the city. :)

Actually that reminds me, some friends of the family are there, maybe I can say hello. Not sure exactly where they are though.
