Hmmm. I received a Sears bill today informing me that I had not made any payments on my account yet. And I owe a bunch. And they want to talk to me. Etc etc credit rating etc.

So I called. The full payment I made on October 22nd has been lost. Sears doesn't have it, PC Financial doesn't have it, and needless to say I don't have it. Grrr.

I've asked PCF to start an investigation. But Ugh.

Oh good luck with PCF... they are useless when it comes to missing money! However, if you owe them money they are very quick to call and harrass you!

They are a great service, because of their no fee banking.. but other than that they are evil!

Yuck. Every time I make an electronic payment, I wonder if this is the time it's going to get lost. And all I have is that little confirmation number, which I write down religously. Like that will actually help when it happens!

I *never* write them down. But when I called, they had a transaction number (well, they called it the batch sequence number). So I've learned no lesson on that front.
