Bought some groceries today, and since I was unsupervised and feeling somehow disconnected from the world I spent half the bill on cheap-ass movies. This series will examine each of these movies after I have watched them. (There were only three.)

Lost in Translation was awesome. I wish I'd seen it sooner. I love the way the camera drank in a scene, rarely moving. Bill Murray was fantastic, but I love deadpan so he always gets me. I don't really know what else to say about it actually, but it was certainly $7.88 well spent.

Tonight's HTML lesson, boys and girls, is on symbols. There are all sorts of cute little symbols you can use to spice up your posts. For example, you can create the trademark symbol by typing an ampersand (&) followed by the word trade, finished with a semicolon. Like this: ™ = ™

Be careful to include the semicolon. Internet Explorer will pretend it's there if you forget, but Firefox won't, and you'll be all embarassed about your typo.

Others I like: © (©), £ (£), ¾ (¾), and € (€).

Many many more: http://www.ascii.cl/htmlcodes.htm

I tell you all this so as to give you a movie review. I ♥ Huckabees is really messed up.

I cheated. There's no HTML code for a ♥. I had to copy it out of Character Map.
