Looks like we're moving to Kitchener.

Wow. Big change. Scary. Exciting too, theoretically, but currently I'm just focused on the fear. It'll take a bit to relax, I think. So many things to decide upon so quickly.

To do:
- call real estate agent with criteria for properties (she doesn't handle email well, which along with her je-ne-sais-quoi nature puts her in my not so good books right now, but we'll see)
- get a bunch of listings from her, decide which ones we want to see
- fly to KW, see them, make an offer on something
- cross fingers and toes

Wow - very exciting! It'll be very nice to have the two of you a little closer. :)

As for real estate, it sounds like it's time for a new agent. If things aren't clicking, find someone else that you're comfortable with; you'll be much happier with the process. She should be going the extra mile for you, not the other way around! Just think how pissed you'll be IF (1) she doesn't work hard to find the perfect property for you and IF (2) you end up compromising on a mediocre property and give her a big fat commission in the process.

Well I don't hate the agent or anything, but I really am not going to get into that situation for sure. We really have only spent 2 hours with her, and she had all sorts of assumptions like we would want to live outside the downtown cause that's where all yuppies want to be, and she asked "are you bringing one car or two?" -- duh, zero! please adapt! :-) So anyway, now that she knows us she can actually help us. If not, then too bad so sad.

Sorry to everyone who lives west of here, but it sucks! I mean, I'm glad Vin's employment situation is worked out... and of course I'm super happy for Cam, 'cos now he has much better job prospects, and they get to live somewhere nearer to more exciting places...

...but still.

Now none of my friends are in the same time-zone as me. Argh.
