jPod on CBC this summer!

jPod season one is being rebroadcast this summer on CBC - Thursdays at 8pm, starting June 19th. If you get CBC, check it out, especially if you like off-the-wall non-sitcom humour! And here's the favour: tell some of your friends! If CBC gets good ratings, they'll be encouraged to do this sort of thing in future.

If you're outside Canada, jPod can be found online on high-quality bittorrents, and you can watch entire episodes on the CBC jPod website! jPod can also be enjoyed in the original book flavour.

If by "thing" you mean "small shrine in basement while I wait for the larger shrine in the backyard to be completed," the answer is no.

I noticed that iTunes also has it for sale in their Canadian store. That's probably how I'll end up watching it. Before biking season began and I was instead going to the gym, I was sweating through two episodes of Corner Gas a day, thanks to the iTunes store. When I go back to the gym this fall (whenever it finally gets unbikeable, climate-wise), I'll eventually run out of Corner Gas episodes, and jPod, for as long as it lasts, may be a good replacement.

Of course, if work was nice, and made it possible for me to log onto the office WIFI via my iPod, I'd probably be able to stream it from the site rather than paying for it. Unfortunately, work hates Apple. (Really. We're expected to RIM for our mobile data, as long as we can justify the business expense. Unfortunately, I can't.)
