I just thought up a silly website idea, but I can't figure out how it could make me any money.

Six Choruses of Separation, just like Six Degress of Kevin Bacon, is all about connections. My site (which needs a snappier name) would connect movies based on songs contained within them.

Like this: Lost in Translation --> "More Than This", Roxy Music --> 200 Cigarettes

Well, it amuses me anyway.

That is a cool idea... I have been noticing the prevalence of 80s remakes in recent films - things that were popular when I was high school used and re-used in movies today... as if there are quintessential songs that capture a mood or emotion.

Might be interesting what you distill from all of this.
