Where am I going?

Blah blah 2006 recap blah blah blah happy new year blah blah.

What a year. I started out with a gradual promotion at work, and ended the year with what amounts to another. I have more responsibilities, but no more money. More stress -- well, maybe different stress: as I've become accustomed to various things, new stressors appear. Vinny quit his job, we listed the condo, and we started hunting very slowly for a new abode in The Centre Of The Universe.

Unexpected-Category Comments

Aesthetics: I find more grey hairs now than I did a year ago. I weigh about the same as a year ago. My husband spends all day hearing about how great Botox is. The frogurt is also cursed.

Computing superpowers: I now have a USB hard drive so I don't have to care as much which computer downloads the latest episode of Battlestar Galactica.

I feel like I should make some sort of year end post with all sorts of things in it, but I just can't find it in me. I'm tired and cranky and I have to charge up for the party we're hosting -- people will arrive less than two hours!

I'm off. I hope you and yours have/had a wonderful year, and I wish you all the best for the next year. Take care of yourself and those around you, even the ones you don't like that much. We're all in this together.

I did, and thankfully no hangover to show for it!
