I wish to lodge a complaint about my new USB keyboard and my old computer (which has never played nicely/consistently with USB devices) not playing together. Which department would that be?

It would be the PC department. Please, do not talk to the Mac department. They're too busy using their computers to assist. :P

They're so busy because they have to work overtime to *pay* for their computers. :)

I have a fancy USB keyboard/mouse and the BIOS on my motherboard is so cheap that I can't use it 'til the OS boots. I just use those little USB/PS2 dongles and it solves all my problems... except for the niggling little irritation of having to use the dongles, of course.

*Exactly*! A dongle is admitting failure!!

(mine won't even be picked up in Windows -- it's seen, but not correctly identified. Freakin' useless old USB devices. I shouldn't have been so cheap.)
