Are you living very close to Edmonton's magical winter-summer border?

OMG, is that real?!

Is Edmonton on the side of a mountain or something?

No, it's just satellite images from different seasons being used in Google Earth. Edmonton's nifty, but not *that* nifty.

Must be Stockwell Day's riding, proof that dark dark powers were involved in his leading the Alliance.

Although that's just a mosaic of images, it's not that far from the truth. It's sweater weather here in the mornings and evenings, but by mid afternoon you could fry eggs on the sidewalk.

I live on the 14th floor of an apartment that overlooks commonwealth stadium. One time I was watching an Eskimos CFL game on TV at the same time a game was on at the stadium. Except, it was snowing on TV and, yet it sunny was a sunny August day in from my window. I was so confused for about an hour or so...walking back and forth from my window to the TV, trying to figure out what was going on. :|. It turned out it was just a rerun of a game on TV because of local blackouts.
