I can't believe I didn't blog about this yet, but since the wounds are healing well I guess I can tell the story. I was attacked in PEI last week!

I'd noticed the guy hours earlier, stumbling around like he was drunk or something. He was shrieking once in a while too. Very weird. I've always thought our cottage neighbours were weird, but this was very unusual. I don't exactly remember everything that happened, but I was near him and he was holding something glass -- a candle-holder I think -- and he smashed it, and came swinging at me with a fragment of the glass. I ended up bleeding from a three-inch gash, and in two other places. I guess the adrenaline took hold at that point, because I pulled the glass from his hand, picked him right up off the ground, and handing him to his mother who was sitting on the couch. Oh, did I not mention the attacker was 18 months old? Details, details.

the cuts were very minor, and I'm really fine, and I'm not pressing charges

Yes, it was simplisticton's son, we were at my family cottage. It was not malicious.

I honestly read that three times before I got it. "18 months" looks a lot like "18 years" when you're reading quickly. Anyway, I'm glad to hear you're alright. :)

Zach would totally win. He goes for the eyes. Last night he was having a bit of a crank fit (ok, he was going nuclear, actually)... he grabbed my finger with both hands, shoved it in his mouth, and bit. It wasn't really malicious, he's cutting molars, and I can't see that that's any fun.
