c9For those who are curious about this whole NTP-sues-RIM-why-is-it-taking-forever-when-the-patents-are-getting-rejected thing: a great roundup of the situation.
The Blackberry comes from Research In Motion, RIM*, which is based right here in Kitchener-Waterloo. They would just say Waterloo. Kitchener is icky and non-technical. So as goes RIM, so goes, K-W, or at least it feels that way.
Why Doomsday? An injunction may be applied forcing a pretty big upheaval in the Blackberry world on February 24th. Tick tick tick tick...
