Friends, Romans, countrymen... lend me your ears. I come not to praise 2005, but to bury it. If anyone here knows any reason that this year should not end, let them speak now or forever hold their peace.
This year we visited together or separately Vancouver, Winnipeg, London (Ontario), Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Fredericton, Halifax, Cape Breton, London (England), Avignon and region, Marseilles, Seattle, and possibly somewhere else I've forgotten. We redid the kitchen, spent too much at IKEA, bought clothes that are too tight in the hope of fitting in, donated not enough (but still a bunch) to various causes, began to mesh with the cats, we both got promotions, one of us got a new job title, neither of us got raises. Vinny started a Masters program, I performed in a play then was cast in another (coming soon to a stage near me!).
Highly eventful. Far more important to me are the continued adventures and successes of all my friends. I love reading about you, and hearing from you, and visiting you, and hosting you. Here's to more of each in 2006.

Date: 2005-12-31 06:33 pm (UTC)I saw your earlier post about the party. I wish I could come (I was outvoted to remain here. And the traffic is weird today, so with my experience, probably for the best!). I would love to come visit you guys in the near near future. I'm glad to have made our knowledge of each other even better today (as corny as that sounds! :).
