Five years ago last week, I joined Polar Bear full time. Of course, it was called BroadLeaf back then. But I've now been part of a company, with primarily the same management, for five years now. The company itself, as previously mentioned, has grown rather absurdly, but hey. Polar Bear is actually owned by CrossOff, Inc., a publicly-traded Sydney Nova Scotia-based technology firm.

Yay for five years of occasional stability and warm feelings towards work! Something depressing though. This is the graph of the CrossOff stock price basically since I joined. I often joke that my perceived potential obviously didn't pan out...

*shrug* I know SFA about stock ownership, but the thought has also occurred to me in the past. But each time I look at the stock history, especially since the profits started 2 years ago, and I see no change in price, so I drop that idea.

Maybe now with a new CEO and management team? I dunno.
