Apparently, the NDP have released "the first negative attack ad of the campaign," according to the Globe. From their description it sounds pretty tame, but whatever. Update: I just watched it, and it's very tame.

The article also mentions those internet ads I posted earlier, describing them thusly:
The NDP has also released a series of viral marketing ads in which Mr. Layton attacks the Liberal record. Viral ads -- like Burger King's famously successful 2004 Subservient Chicken campaign -- get passed around by e-mail.
Does anybody know what a subservient chicken is supposed to be?

Just watched the TV ad... and yes, it's too tame. But the idea is good... definetely much better compared to the lame and dull campaign adds we had for our presidential elections here.
