I'm training at a video game company today and tomorrow, and it's very cool. Video games in the lobby, nice (huge) buildings... Would be a nice place to work!

No email access though. :-(

Out of curiousity, exactly what is it you're training them to do?

I wanna work here! It reminds me of everything that was good about Nortel and Corel.

Yeah, big companies that make money hand over fist are like that :-)

Don't you remember all those anti-?? stories on Slashdot last year?

Hmmm. No. I'll have to go check that out.

Also, I couldn't work here and still tell myself I was doing Good.

I can neither confirm nor deny anything I see, hear, or play at this large Vancouver office of a company with two vowels for a name.

How does a technology company not have e-mail access?

That's odd.

For security reasons. I can access email, just not on this computer.

That guy Brian's gf tried to set me up with works for a video game company - I think it's in Burnaby. I wonder if he's in your class. (Short, blond, irish looking.)

Unless he works on a help desk, he wouldn't be here. And nobody today by that description. (different group tomorrow)

Maybe they are too busy playing video games to answer e.mails.

From the looks of the employees, that's very likely.

I would give anything to work for EA.....I can't even begin to describe....

The location of their Burnaby office, and the look of the office really makes one think they're actually in Cupertino or something too....LOL

It's really sweet. I'd love to work here, but I wouldn't be able to feel good about it, as in "I'm doing a good thing for the world." Not that Polar Bear is much better, but at least I'm teaching technology, which is neutral. :)
