c91. Winnipeg city parking can be paid for by SMS text message.
2. Bloodhound Gang (who did The Bad Touch) has a new album out. It has a song named Ralph Wiggum, which features only lines that were said by Ralph Wiggum. It is beautiful. Titles from their other albums are fun too.
3. I joined the gawkers in downtown Winnipeg and watched some filming of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (yes that's actually the title). I am almost sure that I saw Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck, but I was a block away, and it was a crowd, so it looked something like...

Date: 2005-10-26 12:40 pm (UTC)Fun Fact: When they shot Sleepless in Seattle they gave all of the house-boat neighbours parkas to wear when they went outside of their houses because, while the movie is set between Christmas and Valentine’s day, it was shot in the summer. However, they couldn’t do the same for everyone wandering through the market so if you watch those scenes you’ll notice that Tom Hanks is wearing a winter jacket, and everyone else is in shorts.
