You know what I hate tonight? Public transit that sucks. I went grocery shopping last night, and for one bus ticket I got to the grocery store, and home, in about an hour. I exited the grocery store, saw (and missed) a bus, waited ten more minutes, and caught a bus. Tried the same trick tonight. I exited the grocery store about 20 minutes later than last night, and stood outside for 40 minutes waiting. Finally a bus arrived. I checked the schedules when I got home and two of the three possible buses were on hourly service, so it's logical to wait a bit, but the one that picked me up was on every 30 minutes. And I waited 40. ???

Grumble mumble bus grump grump.

* GRT = Grand River** Transit

** Grand River = rather small creek running through KW.

PS: Grand River is NOT a rather small creek. Its pretty wide as far as southern Ontario rivers go. :)

I prefer to think of rivers more than 200km from where I live for comparison. :)

I support public transit 100%. I support bus drivers -- especially ones who get shot (Toronto three days ago) -- 100%. Even little college town bus drivers. :-)

What I do NOT support is bad schedules, non-supportive governments, and cold weather.

The Brampton Transit bus I take home from the GO station has a really hot driver. I have convinced myself that he is gay based on the way he checks out people getting on the bus. Hahaha! Never hurts to dream, right? :p

of course, not a single one ever seemed to notice. i suppose it appeared that i was just making sure no one sketchy got on.

One of the many reasons if you catch me on Public Transportation you better believe there were no other options.

In Seattle it SUX! Downtown core is fine, but once you get away from that, good luck and god speed!
