After 45 minutes of Steve Zissou, I hit stop and washed dishes instead. Still aquatic, but different somehow. I will probably go back to it, but not tonight.

Vincent must be thanking you. I mean, shit, there's no cheerleaders!

I finished it, but only because I was trapped on a plane with it. You should have seen the quantities of wine required to make the acquatic life tolerable....

That was how I expected National Treasure to be when I was trapped on a plane with it. It was wacky and ridiculous, but I enjoyed it far more than I expected.

I'll try the wine plan when I watch the rest tomorrow. :)

I would rather have done just about anything to avoid watching all of Steve Zizzou. Damn yu Bill Murray! If you don't stop making 'films' soon and go back to movies, you are DEAD to me!

I don't get it. There must be something wrong with me. I loved The Life Aquatic. Almost everyone else I've talked to hated it. I thought it was quirky and fun, everyone else seems to think it's pretentious. I think people are just reading in pretentiousness where it doesn't exist. But that's just me.

And besides, the soundtrack is worth the price of admission.

No, I was enjoying it and did laugh several times. I just didn't have the mood to match it, and knew Vinny would be happier watching Friends or whatever. :)
