Las Vegas in February! 2-3 nights in crazy-ass Vegas, then 2-3 nights in roadside motels in NV, UT, and AZ. Unfortunately, I've just told you almost the full extent of our decisions on this topic.

Flights: booked
Rental car: booked
Hotel: not yet decided

Quick price survey for your reference (all prices CDN, standard room, and averaged out):
Sahara $79/night
Circus Circus $108/night
Paris $178/night
New York New York $208/night

Las Vegas Strip, Monorails, and Roadside attractions for us to go and be baffled by.

Must make some decisions!

Five years ago last week, I joined Polar Bear full time. Of course, it was called BroadLeaf back then. But I've now been part of a company, with primarily the same management, for five years now. The company itself, as previously mentioned, has grown rather absurdly, but hey. Polar Bear is actually owned by CrossOff, Inc., a publicly-traded Sydney Nova Scotia-based technology firm.

Yay for five years of occasional stability and warm feelings towards work! Something depressing though. This is the graph of the CrossOff stock price basically since I joined. I often joke that my perceived potential obviously didn't pan out...
