I think you have to go into it knowing which colors you like, and then compare different combinations to see which you like best.
Altho, for doing the remodel, the program was GREAT, because I could do measurements and such, and for rearranging furniture, it's wonderful, too - I was able to see exactly what my house would look like before I finished. And, when contractors tried to argue with me about this or that, I knew what would fit, what would work, and what wouldn't. Drove them crazy, but when it was done, even they had to compliment the design they never thought would work.
