Taxes filed. Even was able to get an access code for netfile for leapfish over the Internet, which was unheard of back in the day. I remember when I got a code and a friend didn't, and it was just tough shit because they were only letting a small test group try out the system. Now they'd let pets file as long as they promised to use the Internet.

I wonder how long til the refunds appear in our accounts? It's pretty early in the season, we might get lucky on this.

Ours was originally 25, but with accelerated payments it would actually be around 21 years. Then we decided that if we could live without the extra cash for the first half of the year when they deduct for CCP/EI, then we could also live without it for the second half when they stop deducting and put that on as extra payments. That along with putting some money from our tax refund turns a 21 year mortgage into a 10 year one.

I knew making extra payments early made a big difference but I didn't think it would make THAT much of a difference.
