I'm personally so overwhelmed by the Tsunami that I choose not to think about it at all.

I'm only responding because I bought an enormous Olivia doll for my mother-in-law and your icon made me think of it.

I gave my neice the Circus doll for Christmas, and I could see the tension and restraint that her grandmother exhibited, not wanting to grab it and play with it herself.

Fortunately, I got one for her, too.

What disturbs me most isn't the extent of the damage in this instance, but the fact that something *really* nasty[*], like the antarctic ice sliding off land and into the sea, would make this look minor.

[*] I'm not suggesting that this wasn't really nasty, and I don't want to downplay the magnitude of this event, but compared to possible events...
