Action Cat and Lucky are settling more, though the gastronomic difficulties persist. Perhaps a different diet is in order. Tonight the Barlee's Angels folks do their Home Visit. I feel like Children's Aid is being called in to evaluate our fitness to parent.

Lucky still loves to sit under the futon and watch the lower three inches of the world go by, but does wander often. He and Action are getting into growling sessions over food, so it might be appropriate to get them separate food dishes, if it continues. We shall see.

It takes a while for cats to adjust. Separate feeding bowls should help, but make sure that's the only separate thing you give them. For example, no separate litter boxes. They need to realize that they're "brothers" now.

Pretty soon they'll be licking each other, and crawling all over you when you don't want them around.

One of our cats (Vinny...haha!) likes paper. If we lay a piece of paper on the floor, he's bound to come sit on it. It makes him a very happy camper. So, if you're trying to placate your kitties in any way, just find out what their weird fetish is, and satisfy them accordingly.

Also, I hear catnip gives cats the feeling of sensual ecstasy. So, even though the cats sound like they're doing well, might as well give them something that'll make them feel mellow.
