It's so hard to choose between the proprietary, unstable, piggy formats, with their inconsistent, nonstandard GUIs. :)

ugh. i'd take quicktime's "liberal" use of apple's posted HIGs over the shit that Real churns out or MS's stuff any day. :-)

Part of me really wants to switch over to ogg for music and idunnowhat for video, but the real world just doesn't make it that easy. Real is actually going open source which is cool. But they're all trouble, agreed.
