What is the time when the number of minutes after midnight is nine times that of the number of minutes before noon?

Draw a timeline from midnight to noon. Divide it up into pieces.

OHHHH... I think I didn't read the question the right way, the thirty times that I did read it.

Don't give up!

x = 9y

x + 9y = 12 hours (12 hours between noon and midnight)

12 hours = 12 x 60 minutes = 720 minutes.

Trying to lead you in the right direction...
