Day Two of DriveToLondonPalooza
Nov. 23rd, 2004 10:30 amThis morning I missed my exit. I clearly have absorbed too much Maritimer, cause out there it's a little trickier to do. Big sign: "ONLY EXIT TO HALIFAX 5KM"
My excuse is I was amongst a bunch of trucks when I drove past it, so I missed the sign. Also, it was only my second time taking the 401 to get to London. So I drove an extra 40 km this morning that I really didn't need to drive. Oh well.
I forgot to bring hom my books last night, so I'm not ready for my Director course tomorrow. Tonight will be spent frantically learning a brand new product so that I can feign expertise tomorrow and Thursday. I hate it when I get into this situation. Luckily, it's fairly rare.
Had our first rehearsal last night -- lots of fun! Because my part is the smallest of the three, I get to relax a bit more, and I'm less worried about being off-book in time (read: learning my lines). I have a nasty tendency to upstage though, which I must work on. Even though we're playing it as an outrageous farce, I'm not the top funny guy.
