I must say I'm incredibly pleased to hear that not only have the media spent another 48 hours talking about Carrolyn Parrish, but that Paul Martin actually spent all day working on the issue too. Goodness, it must be nice to have so little to do that a nutbar who likes to talk a lot can derail everything your government is doing.

Meh. She's Martin's Nunziata. I wish she would join the NDP, though, and we get a Bloc member going Liberal.

I want to say she's been given the shaft, but her comments this week really dug her own grave.

Oh, it's her own fault, for sure. But god, we have bigger fish to fry. It struck me as typical that Paul Martin's first unequivocal, no-mumbling, capital-D Decision was on an issue of such tiny consequence.

And I must admit that Paul Wells of Maclean's made the connection, not I.
