(A) First, recommend to me (with reasons!):
1. a movie:
2. a book:
3. a musical artist, song, or album:

(B) I want everyone who reads this to ask me three questions, no more, no less. Ask me anything you want.

(C) Then I want you to go to your journal, copy and paste this allowing your friends to ask you anything. Alternately, you can play truth or dare.

Movie: Hmm. The best movie I've seen in a while is Dancer in the Dark, starring Bjork. I think it has been out for a while, so you may have already seen it.

Book: I don't generally read fiction, but if you are into non-fiction I would recommend "From Ape to Super Species", by David Suzuki (and Holly Dressel I think). In a nutshell, it's about the relationship between environmentalism, economics, social justice, and globalization. Based on how well I know you, I think you would really find it interesting.

Musical Artist: Ron Sexsmith, because he's original, not over produced, he's Canadian, and he's coming to Halifax next week. Yay!

(B) I want everyone who reads this to ask me three questions, no more, no less. Ask me anything you want.

Three questions. This one's tough:

1. Where is the favourite place that you have ever visited?
2. Are you doing what you intended to do as a career?
3. Who do you think should win the Greatest Canadian contest?

Don't ask me where I got these dumb questions. I couldn't think of anything else.

Bjork makes my head hurt. :) Haven't read that one, and shall sometime. I'll hunt for some Ron Sexsmith too.

1. Black Rock City (the spot in the desert where Burning Man takes place). It's constantly changing, and felt very open and free.

2. For the most part. What I wished for? No. But when considering "pays actual money" and "doesn't pay shit", I had to go with paying the bills.

3. Probably Trudeau. If only to encourage bilingualism, equal rights for all, and interesting politicians instead of mumbles and bumblers. Anybody but Don Cherry would work.
