I just got our hotel bill. It *seriously* looks like somebody went into /dev and typed ls -l. Only less penetrable.

It's a plot. If the bill looks too difficult to understand, nobody will read it. The hotel just has to make sure that errors tend to be in its favour.

Another crazy conspiracy theory - maybe, but sadly, this one might actually be true.
