This one shows what the US electoral map would look like if only people 18-29 got to vote. Why should this make you happy? Because old people die, and young people take over control.

Did you notice that Maine would have become a "red" state? I think that in itself is very interesting.

And then you should consider that Mississippi, Arkansas, Virginia and Florida are blue... that's also pretty wild (well, to me, anyway)...

YAY for the young'uns!

And then there's Tennessee...still as bright red as ever...

I never liked Tennessee... specifically while driving through the eastern part on I-40 near Knoxville in the middle of the night during freezing rain... those hills are murder.

I saw that...

I understand that young people are more idealistic (read liberal) than their older counterparts, but what about the young people of Maine? Why are they more conservative?

Besides, this is all based on exit polling, which we all know is questionable at best.

I grew up in Maine but now I live in Oregon as does my brother. I think the only people who stay in Maine have to for one reason or another (this is based on my own bias, not in any fact that I know of). People may go there to retire. There's not much to do there.

It is?

Yeah, I suppose they couldn't possibly compile results so quickly for actual voting...

Anyway, I sure am curious what the map would look like after they actually did compile all the results...
