I'm down to 70% trustworthiness on that stupid trust meme?? Yikes. I seriously would do anything for someone, at least in my opinion. Am I a shit? I'd hate to think that was true.

Je ne crois pas que tu sois un tabarnak, mais je ne te connais pas très bien. Peut-être tu en es. :)

I'm sooooo trying to practice my French.

Hmmm. You should practice saying nicer things. :-)

I think you mean "merde". Tabernac has no real translation in English and is a declaration rather than a noun :o).

Eh, someone told me that "maudit tabarnak" meant "asshole", but I guess they were wrong. Sorry, at least I'm trying, right?

And I didn't think that a person could be a "merde" in French. Est-ce on peut dire "merde" dans ce cas?

Je pense qu'elle est correct. En français, the swear words are very religious, and quite varied in interpretation. Many would accept maudit tabernac (from tabernacle) as asshole, but "tabernac!" would also be roughly equivalent to "fuck!"

I'm not certain if merde would work though, I'm not sure if it's used as a ... I don't even know the term, but you of course would, mister language person... but a noun describing a person. I'm sure there's a more elegant insult that's equivalent, we'll just have to wait for Vinny to weigh in (since his French is better than yours, mine, and Sarah's combined)

For asshole, use trou de cul.

Etre un merde would translate as 'be a shit'. It's said, but not very common.

As for the whole tabernac debate, I'm unsure. That's the sort of stuff that they tried to not teach us in school.

There's this "do your lj friends trust you" type meme going around. www.ljmeme.com . Meaningless, yet upsetting! :)

I'd leave a comment here but I don't trust ya... KIDDIN!!!

Cam, from what I remember about you back at Mac, you were known as one people could trust.

And besides, with that cute smile you have, who couldn't trust you?!

Riiiiight.

"Ford, do you think we can trust him" (Arthur, referring to Prosser, from the local council)

"Me, I'd trust him to the end of the world."

"Oh, and when's that, then?"

"About 15 minutes from now."
