Not much exciting going on these days.
leapfish and I are getting legally married (yay for equal rights!) in Ottawa in eleven days.
I think everything is set. We need to think more about the tiny details, but the big stuff is dealt with. I need to call Sears and tell them that any registry packages that arrive while we're on the honeymoon should not be sent back. :)
We decided that a traditional (fancy, not really edible) wedding cake wasn't really for us, so we ordered a non-traditional (boring, completely edible and tasty) cake from a Loblaws in Ottawa. And instead of little tuxedoed men, we've got tuxedoed rubber duckies! They arrived yesterday.
I still don't know where the honeymoon is. Vinny's told everyone we know locally I'm sure, plus family and friends outside the city. He may even have posted it in a friends-except-Cam post too, I dunno. I'm very excited about not knowing. Vin's sick of the secret though, I think. :)
A good friend of mine is getting married at the end of July in BC, and I'm trying to go. So far though, the best flight I can find is $1200. Why? Because it's in Smithers. Smithers is a 12 hour drive from Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton. Not exactly central. Actually it is central -- centre of nowhere! But beautiful area. Glaciers and mountains and all that jazz. I'll be camping if I successfully make it there.
Vinny's sick! I hope he feels better soon. After my long sickness, neither of us has the patience for the lack of energy and fun that it brings!
Hmmm. I think I'm out of things to say. So I'll shut up for now. Everybody else should talk about what they're up to though.
Go!
