Well, there's a vocal minority here who are pretty interested in those kinds of bans too. Luckily, they don't have too much sway -- just so long as our federal election (next month likely) doesn't become the gay marriage election. It might, but hopefully not.
Just thought from your silence maybe my smile wasn't obvious. Explaining jokes / amusement isn't fun, but it's better than misunderstanding. Wars have started over less. :)
