Apartment Update

Yay for bulleted lists!

• Cable: the super was in, and fixed the mess the previous tenants created.


• Internet: I hooked up our DSL modem from the old place (against Aliant instructions, in fact) and it works. Meaning either the previous tenants had a DSL modem that's compatible in use when they were here, or our move order was partially implemented.


• Phone: still the old tenants' phone line. When I spoke to Aliant this morning, they were a) just as clueless as on Saturday (managers trying to perform skilled workers' jobs), and b) rather concerned that I was using someone else's phone line.


• Previous tenants: either hookers or pornographers. Were evicted. Superintendent has amusing stories about things he saw when in the apartment. We seem to have a knack for pickin' them.


• Weather: rainy and grey.


• Sickness: Abating slowly.

You should fix some dinner to the Superintendent to get more of those stories... and then post them in LJ of course!!! :P

At least this apartment is less obviously an escort's apartment as compared to the last. This does give me comfort; however, that the neighbours either (a) don't hear what was going on in the apartment or (b) don't care what was going on in the apartment. Bring on the loud sex, ya!
