c9There's a columnist in the Saint John paper who is, to put it mildly, a little looney. In his column this morning on the editorial page, he used "lefty," "looney," "commie," "crazy," "ultra-liberal," and more, all just talking about the CRTC's unwillingness to let Fox News run on Canadian cable. Which he used these words to describe: "balanced," "fair," "conservative," and "different." He also said that the CRTC "would sooner let in Al-Jazeera" or another super-Islamist-focused channel in Iran (which I'd never heard of) than let in Fox News.

Date: 2004-03-03 05:13 am (UTC)Parents are in shock after discovering that their children can secretly say anything they want (dramatic pause) over the internet. These "on" "line" "journals," which can be created without parental permission, have literally taken over! School administrators, nurses, babysitters, pets, and the persistent vegetative state-set are literally rioting in the streets. Some people can talk about their dating life, their new hairstyle, going to a party, being sad, being happy, being sad, being sad, or being sad, and nobody is preventing it from happening!
Our extensive 45-minutes of coverage this evening begins with a parish priest in Rothesay...
