Shiny Paper Bundles Near Me

Canada's national newsmagazine. Pretty wordy, a little right-ish in outlook, and fantastic writers and columnists. I read their blogs more than their issues, but enjoy them so much I felt guilty about not listing them here.
"The Economist"
High-brow, arrogant, piercing, and witty. Especially in their covers. I like seeing their take on world events and issues, even if I don't always agree.
"Wired"
Wired has gotten thinner, less shiny, and less insane. But they still put together great features and hit my interest bone.
"Toronto Life"
Pretends to be accessible, but features articles and reviews on products/restaurants/activities completely outside our price range on a regular basis. Yes, they'll tell you to buy vintage cheap shit in Kensington, but then they'll talk about that $18,000 couch you simply *must* have. I like their features on civic issues though.
"enRoute"
Air Canada's in-flight magazine. I read every issue cover to cover because I'm on a plane and bored at least once each month. Not bad, but also not *good*. Like a chain restaurant, enRoute can't afford to offend, so everything is kinda bland and, in the words of my husband, "annoyingly bilingual."
