Being Poor
Feb. 26th, 2009 04:31 pmThrough luck, my parents' and grandparents' hard work, and mostly minor effort of my own, I've never had to experience being poor. I bitch and whine about not having a shiny new kitchen, but Vincent and I are (like everyone reading this) well off compared to those who have no computer, desk, house, or job.
I just read a post John Scalzi wrote a few years back and it totally made me cry. Especially some of the comments.
I've been extra emotional recently so I shouldn't have been reading this in class probably.
Being Poor.
