Call HGTV Canada... maybe they will help you on your house hunt... like House Hunters or Buy Me or something. :-) They always seem to have somebody who needs a new home in 2 weeks. :-)
1. You know what I love? MLS URLs. 2. $300,000 was not intended to be the downpayment. 3. Why does that place seem to have nothing but tables and chairs? Is it some sort of rich person's cafeteria?!
You have a sixth sense for when Vinny's out of town! He will be in Arlington, VA this weekend, leaving me alone to feed the cats. I am househunting Sunday if you want to ditch work and come look at condos!
I could possibly be convinced to come to the city Saturday evening too.
Congrats! Wow 2 weeks, the people who bought the house want a closing date that fast? Hopefully you can find a place that is willing to move out or is already moved out that fast as well.
No, our closing is 48 days, but if we want to have the luxury of not putting our lives in storage for any period of time, we need to make a deal and get a 30-day closing sometime in the next two weeks.
I used to live around the corner from that place. We used to sit on our (illegal) deck and wave to the people on the (legal) deck of that building or the one next door.
Oh, and Mark Tewksburry used to live down the street (perhaps he still does) if that sways your interest at all...
No worries -- just call my cell whenever you're bored (519-616-1814) and if I'm around we can hang out. Sounds like there will be future opportunities to enjoy Toronto together. What a great tourism slogan.

Date: 2007-01-31 09:31 pm (UTC)Actually, we sold our place in just a bit longer than the average for Kitchener, although it was frustrating just the same. :)
