Feb. 1st, 2006 08:07 pmRather than study my Java programming (theme: It's 1999 all over again!) I'm posting random pictures.

When the fire alarm goes off in our building, they have a new strategy to avoid the need for 100 septagenarians walking down 14 flights of stairs. Very high-tech. Also pictured: foil to try and keep Lucky from his Very Urgent Mission to cry at the speaker wires.

I'm working on Java, really! Never mind the MSN window with Benjamin saying hello and sending me tiny pornographic animated GIFs. Also pictured: my Tradewinds Raspberry Iced Tea. Highly recommended. The cap suggests I save the manatees.

How I spent most of my day: frustrated by Java. Also pictured: new haircut. Tidy on the edges, tousled on top. My barber (barbrix?) talks so much that she took 40 minutes. But for $10.50 I'll deal.

The image file that gave me more joy than my entire Java course did in university. Also pictured: me. I made a bunny appear on screen Over The Internet With The Power Of Java. I was giddy. Yeah, I know.
