What is the proper pronunciation of these words?

- pronunciation (nun or noun?)
- ogle (oh-gull or awe-gull?)
- orgy ("Oh gee" or Jean-Guy?)
- height (T or TH on the end?)
- deity (dee-it-ee or day-it-ee or die-ty ?)

I only ask because I've heard them all pronounced incorrectly over the years, sometimes by me, and I'm wondering if they are common or uncommon mispronunciations.

No. My *father* mispronounced it, which boggled my mind.

When I first read the word I thought it was pronounced as if it were phonetically spelled. So not quite "die-ty", but only two syllables.

[i] He pronounced it OrGy (hard G), like Sergei.

[ii] I can't recall how it came up, but it was slightly startling and did not remain in the conversation for long.
