You know what's unfortunate? The 31,990,000 Canadians (roughly) who won't bother to read the NDP's 2006 platform.

(it's also unfortunate that about 31,980,000 Canadians will also ignore the other parties' platforms.)

I read them all!!! Every election I make up a point system based on the platforms and the winner gets my vote. Although I've only been of voting age for 7 years so I havne't done it THAT many times.

This weekend is my 'voting education weekend' so it should be quite interesting.

It's *usually* the same party that wins, based on my system so we'll see what happens this time.

No *wonder* everybody else is so blasé about voting -- you're using up all the keenerism! :)

So many people are shitty about learning who they should vote for. I have to try and do it right.

Agreed! I just wish more people did.

Teach by example. I plan to make a spreadsheet this time that I can re-use for every election and send to everyone I know (blank of course, they need to take the time to evaluate how the platforms affect them!)
