A U.S. Southwest Airlines jet has skidded off a runway during a driving snowstorm at Chicago's Midway Airport, slamming through a fence and sliding into an intersection, hitting at least one car, a spokeswoman for Chicago's Department of Aviation said. There were no immediate reports of injuries, spokeswoman Wendy Abrams said.

No injuries, so that makes it kind of funny. The imagery of a plane hitting a car amuses me, separate from any injuries that may have resulted of course.

CNN is reporting that five people on the ground (outside the plane) were injured, two critically.

We usually have 2 or 3 of these every winter. People never learn.

Plane v. car is a perfectly funny image, so long as no one was hurt. :-).

I remember once when I was visiting relatives in Saskatchewan, a small plane crashed in the middle of Saskatoon. Onto a busy road. Hitting a truck. Everyone survived. Though, you have to wonder how the guy in the truck explained that to his insurance agency.

Yeah I always found it strange at Chicago that the planes use an overpass, under which is a highway or road at least. Just weird being on a plane going over a bridge with cars under it.
