Explosive Science
Oct. 13th, 2005 07:21 amNova Scotia is apparently going to switch over to a newer variety of apple called a honeycrisp. From the CBC article:
The Honeycrisp is a cross between a Macoun and a Honeygold. It was developed at the University of Minnesota and grows well in colder climates. The university's Horticultural Science department describes the apple as "explosively crisp."...or maybe the marketing department?? Explosive? Really? Sheesh.
