If you have suffered the agony of trying to exist as multiple email accounts, agonize no more! Gmail has added support for multiple email addresses!

Now I can be c (dot) a (dot) m (at) unb (dot) ca most of the time, and submissions (at) wayves (dot) ca when needed. The excitement is just wild.

You mean it will let you send email from gmail with different email addresses than your gmail one?

Precisely. Just like 'Identities' in Outlook Express.

25 MB with Hotmail versus 2500 MB with Gmail? How do you survive?

Hotmail is 20 MB. I have four messages totalling 16k in my Hotmail. One thing I don't keep lying around is e-mail. I don't save forward or shit :P My Hotmail has never gone beyond 1% capacity, lol. See I've had this Hotmail address since high school plus it's tied into my MSN and all my spam mail and journal comments and stuff go here (I prefer that it comes here instead of clogging up my ISP e-mail) and everyone knows what it is, and there's nothing wrong with it. If Hotmail was my primary e-mail I MIGHT consider switching but I use this account as my catch all. It simlutaneous means nothing and everything to me.

Good for Google, though, lol, I just have no use for it. I'm too old to change now.

Weird. I was just looking on their site and they claim that only residents of the US and territories can get that amount. :)

I work on a volunteer newspaper and we go through about 100 MB of information each month, so Gmail means I can actually save it -- that way when I need it four months from now it's still available. I miss the days when I kept my email as empty as possible... these days I spend too much time at home and at work trying to find* that old email about topic whatever.

* ...and that's why Gmail rocks for me: the search features!

I have 250MB as well. But Hotmail is slower than a carrier pigeon, long live GMAIL!

Gmail's OK today, but last month it was just a dog (which apparently means slow).
