There's a cat in my building who takes his owners out for a walk each morning. The couple, in their sixties at least, wander the back of the building sniffing plants, while the cat sits in the middle of the lane staring. I just don't understand how the cat reaches the door handle to let them out of the building.

do they have the cat-leash thing at all? I always wonder what it would be like to put those on a cat....crazy.

Why would the cat wear a leash?? It's the one in charge.

(no, no leash at all. very dangerous, cats can get into big trouble when they travel alone outside in a city)

If I took our cats outside without a leash, they'd undoubtedly take off and I'd never see them again. They don't really love me. It's all a ruse to get more kitty chow.

It's not just yours. That's part of the definition of cat.

Aww...just think. In another 50 years or so Lucky and Action Cat can take you for walks. (Better start teaching them how to open the door soon - it could take a while.)
