Just used web check-in to check in for my flight home tonight. It leaves at 23:45 PST, arrives at 0700 EST. It's an Airbus 320 or something, and it's almost full -- only 4 out of 209 seats empty. I was originally placed near the front of the plane (good), but in a middle seat (bad). My only better option was a window seat (OK, good for sleeping) in the very last row (badbadbad).
I really hope I somehow magically get bumped up or something. Cross your fingers for me.

Heading Home
Nov. 17th, 2005 08:45 pmAll done teaching at EA*. They gave me thank-you presents! A t-shirt, a travel mug, and a game they make: Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth. I know NOTHING about it. In fact, I picked it just because it seemed like it might have strategy instead of basketball, and might run on the computer I own. Video game hardware requirements are a little extreeeeeme.
If it's too RPGey I may need to just sell it to Joel. If he ever stops playing WoW.
Currently killing time waiting to go to the airport at a little café called TREES on Granville. Pretty, excellent music, tasty panini, and free wi-fi. Go Trees! Only downside is I can't find a plug, so I'm about 5 minutes from no internet again.
* Now that I'm outside their network, I don't mind using the letters E and A together again. Ahhh.
