Arrive at Hamilton International Airport (a.k.a. small, tired airport with decades-old equipment and no jetways, etc) at 9:30. Get bags, car, and try to drive to Burlington to go to Ikea. It takes a couple tries to find the correct roads. Hamilton officially placa non grata.

At Sears Home we purchase a stacking, low-energy, inexpensive(!!) washer and dryer set. They get delivered on Saturday. It was fun to pay using 14 different gift cards from the wedding.

At Ikea we had lunch (passable) and furniture shopped. Found a couch we want, plus a few other things, but made zero purchases. Will go back with my parents' van to get it all.

Drove to Kitchener, checked into hotel, passed out. That was 3 hours ago. Now I'm planning to wake Vinny up and take him to get phone services booked, and then some food. Wish me luck!

More bulletins, stay tuned!

Update: two hours ago, not three. Darn time zones, they're so hard to keep track of.

I have remembered one of the most annoying things about Ontario: everything closes at 6pm on Saturdays. We got to the mall at 17:50, and the Bell store told us we couldn't do anything tonight. Bleh.

Actually, they want us to wait three business days after our phone goes live (next Saturday, meaning Wednesday or Thursday after that) before *ordering* high-speed internet. Useless.

So now we're in the hotel, at 18:30, with nothing to do but veg on the internet or watch tv. Why don't we go for a nice walk? Because there's this guy outside the building named Noah building a big boat. It's raining like crazy here right now, to the point that we didn't feel completely safe driving around!

So if anyone wants to entertain us, that would be cool.

Last night was our last night in Halifax as Haligonians, so we invited
everyone out to our hotel room to hang out and party before the bar. Our
apartment, you may recall, has been completely empty since Thursday morning, and
we were flying out so early this morning we had to do our out inspection of the
apartment yesterday. Anyway. We had many visitors, as you will see below.
